Today I finished up the rest of this painting of Ephesians 4:2. It's one of my favorite verses to refer to, as it points so truly to what love is really about: patience, waiting, growth on terms beyond our own personal desire. Love is such an unfolding, a process, a look forward toward what beautiful things could come in our own stories and the stories of others.
There's also something so sacred about the words, the concept, of bearing with one another: staying, serving, waiting selflessly with love and loyalty when others are in seasons of difficulty or trial. Love always gives, and that is such a beautiful thing.
